Preparation consisted of simply cleaning the existing Formica
surface.

The Quick-Tile was then cut and applied to the existing surface.

After removing the film backing, new tiles were applied (using tile
spacers), grouting commenced immediately, and the project was
completed.

For several years Kelley and DeLane Jones had talked about remodeling the
kitchen of their 17-year-old LaPorte, Texas home. Their plan was to
replace the old outdated Formica with new tile. However, the thought of
the mess involved with using traditional tile adhesive and the time that it
would take to remove the old Formica had always deterred them from moving
forward.
Recently, DeLane heard about the revolutionary product called Quick-Tile.
A good friend of the family told them about how they had just completed a similar
kitchen remodel using the product.
After convincing Kelley to go ahead and try Quick-Tile, they were finally on
their way to a beautiful new kitchen.
Because, there was no need to tear out the existing Formica, they were able to
begin their project immediately.
By following the step-by-step instructions, the entire project was completed
in just a few days!
Kelley and DeLanes only regret is that they had not heard about Quick-Tile
years ago.
The Jones’ outdated Formica countertops and backsplash were
quickly given a beautiful new look with the help of Denso
Quick-Tile™.
